We've started the process of incorporating community feedback and have made a few updates to the site. There is obviously a lot left to do, and we really appreciate all the awesome comments and suggestions you guys send our way.
First off, we’ve added a link to the registration page on the footer and have included a set of RSS feeds to the home page. We realized that new users were having difficulty locating the registration link in the sidebar, so newcomers should now be able to locate the link quickly after a cursory search of the homepage.
In addition, we’ve made some slight adjustments to the ordering of the user forums and have included a new forum titled “Help Wanted”. This forum is specifically meant for unpaid and freelance gigs and should be useful for individuals looking to find volunteers for various industry events, create mod teams, find freelance artists, etc.
Something else we’ve added, which you may have already noticed; the company and school listings can now be filtered alphabetically. This should make it much easier to browse the directory as it continues to grow. Increased functionality such as this is currently underway for the Profiles section as well.
As always, we appreciate any comments and suggestions you may have regarding how we can make the site easier to use and more useful for the community.
Thanks!

I just made a link in a comment to the VGL concert and noticed the CSS has it white with no underline - essentially the same as normal text. There needs to be *some* distinction. I can understand it in places like the left sidebar, where it's intuitive, but in a normal block of text it will only be happened upon by chance
It'll also be easier if ppl can post their events on their own... although you'd want to screen them
