Summary

I'm interested in all aspects of game creation. I have a passion for design, storyline writing and intense programming. I dedicate myself to every project I'm a part of and have a great time while doing so!

When not enthralled in a project or online gaming session, I enjoy being a part of the NYC game development scene. As an active member of the IGDA, I hope to better the industry presence here. I always look forward to meeting new people and discussing anything game related.

Experience

Game : Starcraft Tactics
- Design Lead

Implemented all unit interactions and units into the game as well as the sound manager. The game was a two month project between me and 2 other students. We basically took the terran land units and created a turn-based strategy game based on a hex-tile engine. It was the top game of the class out of six other games.


Game : Kitten Khaos
- Asset Lead
- UI Programming
- FMOD implementation
- Underlying grid system to track objects

Implemented all UI work into the game with customizable menu options as well as profile selection. Also implemented the FMOD api into the game with streaming audio and sound attenuation based on position to sounds. Also did a square grid to overlay over a loaded level to track object positions to make object selection more optimized.
This game was a 5 month long project which took 2 months of design work in which we produced a highly detailed design document. As asset lead I produced a detailed and prioritized list of all assets we would need to complete our projected needs. I was part of a 5 person team this time and the game was a huge success given the timetable and complexity of what we were doing.

Brief description of game ( better viewed on my website ):
A third person multiplayer networked game in which you control a squad of kittens. You must collect crates from around the map to build weapons that will help you crush the opposing team of kittens! Yes this is as awesome as it sounds.
