New York's own Powerhead Games has earned the prestigious Best Mobile Game Design award for IGF 2010. The game will be on display in the IGF pavilion at GDC and will be battling for the (even more prestigious) Best Mobile Game prize.
The 2010 Independent Games Festival organizers have revealed the five IGF Mobile category finalists battling it out for Best Mobile Game at GDC, and among the winners is Glow Artisan from Powerhead Games. The game has already earned the Best Mobile Game Design award, beating out Spider: The Secret Of Bryce Manor and MiniSquadron in the process.
Glow Artisan, which is a Nintendo DSi exclusive and now available for purchase at the DSiWare shop, will be playable at the IGF Pavilion on the GDC Expo floor (where all the cool indie kids hang out).
Here is a video interview with Nintendo Week magazine, where Jason and Ramiro provide insight into the creation of the game: http://bit.ly/aC9Ied
