Local game engine developers "2D Engine" have released their game "Chains" on Valve Software's Steam content-delivery system.

2D Engine is a NYC-based pair of software developers, Ivan and Philip Traykov.  Ivan developed the Chains puzzle game by utilizing the 2D game engine "AGen" built by his brother Phil and himself.  AGen is fully Lua scriptable for rapid prototyping of 2D games, with a generous licensing scheme that is ideal for use by indie game developers.  More information on AGen is available at http://www.2dengine.com.

Here is a Chains gameplay video:

Chains is available for download via Steam at a price of $4.99, which is 50% off the original price of $9.99.  Support local indie game development by firing up your Steam client and searching for "Chains", or by following the link below:

A freely downloadable demo for PC is also available at their website:  http://2dengine.com/chains/

that looks like fun, i like the ones with the 2 canons and the balancing act. the sounds of connecting and clearing the bubbles isn't satisfying, but the game looks fun.
