NY Bill to Prohibit Sales of Racist Games to Minors

New York assemblyman, Keith L.T. Wright, submitted a new legislative proposal which aims to prohibit the sale of video games containing negative racial stereotypes and/or actions toward a specific group of persons to minors.

Ziff Sells 1UP, Discontinues EGM

Looking to conserve its resources for its PC Mag Digital business, New York based Ziff Davis Media has sold off the 1UP Digital Network, its collection of video game sites, to Hearst Corp., which will fold it into the UGO Entertainment division.
