Today was a big day and we’re happy to announce that the launch of nycgameindustry.com wasn’t a huge catastrophe, so high-fives to that! Actually the experience was quite the opposite. We’re especially glad everyone’s initial reaction to the site has been positive and we can’t wait to get things really rockin’ and-rollin’ around here!

Adventure Game Roundtable

Bytejacker, a locally produced online review show, recently aired an episode focused on indie adventure games. One of the guests was Dave Gilbert of New York based Wadjet Eye Games. The episode features some cool insight into the minds of adventure game developers and there's some interesting advice about breaking into game design sprinkled throughout.

PC Magazine Shuttered

Stop the presses… literally. The New York Times is reporting that Ziff Davis Media is going to be ending print publications of PC Magazine and is gearing up to take the title strictly online.
