We're always working to improve the experience of readers on nycgameindustry.com. Today, we're happy to announce a set of new search tools in our "Companies" section, allowing for improved filtering of results.
These new options allow for greater control over how you search nycgameindustry.com's ever-growing database of industry related companies. In addition to searching alphabetically, you can now filter your results by borough, company type, developer type, and platform.
We also understand that there are a lot of companies located around New York, though not necessarily in the city. In an attempt to create the most valuable and comprehensive resource available, we have created two new directories that are accessible via the sidebar on the companies page.
The first directory lists additional companies located in the surrounding Tri-State area, while the other is for historic purposes and features companies that have either gone out of business or are no longer located in NYC. Both these directories are a continuous work-in-progress and feature their own set of search and filtering tools.
We hope you enjoy these new features and find that they make searching the database a bit easier. If you have any comments or suggestions we would love to hear them. Feel free to post them below or in the forums.
