Neuronic Games has announced the release of Skrambler, another mindware designed for the iPhone and iPod touch. Skrambler is a mobile jigsaw puzzle that features historically significant works of art.

Restore paintings of more than twenty famous masters including Rembrandt, Degas and da Vinci by moving hexagonal tiles intor their correct slots. Uncover intriguing facts about the artists and the works of art as the scrambled images are reveled.

The addition of a time challenge also allows Skrambler to be played competitively. The energy meter goes up as correct tile placements are made. Energy can be used for the various tools that help the player put together the paintings faster. The Scope reveals a small portion of the painting, while the Jolt pushes a tile into the correct slot. Thus, energy management provides an additional layer of gameplay in the competitive game.

Putting a scrambled image together enhances visual cognition and pattern recognition skills. The factual information that players can assimilate while playing the game also adds to the learning aspect of Skrambler.

This addictive and brain-enhancing mindware app for the iPhone or iPod touch is available for download on the Apple App Store: http://itunes.com/apps/skrambler
