The Games & Media Expo (a.k.a. "GameX" for its extreme factor) announced the unveiling of its very own game industry side conference, The GameX Industry Summit. Co-situated with The Games & Media Expo, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center*, GameX Industry Summit is presented by NBC with help from the IGDA chapters in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Game industry pros are invited to submit session proposals and convene on the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center for two days of games-focused lectures, panels, roundtables and keynotes from the best and brightest minds in the games business. In addition, GameX Industry Summit attendees are invited to attend GameX, the only major game convention in the U.S. that's supported by a major media sponsor, NBC Local Media in Philadelphia – WCAU TV/NBC 10.
If you're interested in submitting a proposal, review the guidelines at www.gamexpo.us and e-mail any questions and the final proposal to: proposals@gamexpo.us. Deadline is June 15th... so get cracking.
