Games for Health, a non-profit organization supporting the development and use of game technologies to improve health and healthcare is holding a half-day informational session next Tuesday.
Beginning at 9am and ending at 1pm, the free event will cover several current issues regarding videogames and health.
Students, professionals, game developers and researchers are invited to room W323 at the Hunter College Brookdale campus to discuss such topics as using the Wii in a burn patient's rehab program, gaming and smoking cessation efforts, and a nutrition and healthy eating project.
