Gamelab

Gamelab was a game development company based in New York City, founded by Peter Lee and Eric Zimmerman in 2000. Their staff of designers, programmers, and producers created smart, innovative, high-quality games that appealed to a broad audience.

Gamelab specialized in singleplayer and multiplayer online games, but had also designed for a variety of platforms on and off the computer. Their specialty was inventing new ways for people to play, integrating hip graphics, sound and content into approachable and addictive gameplay.

Arkadium has since purchased the Gamelab.com domain and has partnered with Eric Zimmerman to produce a series of game design tutorials and classes for the local development community.
