Game Audio is well represented via ten sessions over four days at the Audio Engineering Society New York 2009 Conference this weekend at the Javits Center in Manhattan.

 

New York City locals Steve Horowitz, Stephen Harwood, Sam Howard-Spink, Tom Salta, and Mike Worth take center stage during the first session, taking place on Friday, October 9, 9:00 am — 11:30 am, titled "Education in Game Audio in Three Parts".  This session also includes appearances by Game Audio Network Guild president Paul Lipson, Steve Martz of THX Ltd., Alexander Brandon of Heatwave Interactive, and Michael Sweet of the Berklee College of Music.

 

NYC area-based Dave Fraser of Heavy Melody Music will be a panelist for session G2 - "Leveling Up Game Audio Implementations", later in the day on Friday. 

 

Tom Salta is also presenting session G3 - "The Art and Business of Game Music" on Saturday afternoon.
