Hey so I finally got on Xbox LIVE and have been on a kind of backlog gaming binge these past few weeks. Played through Resident Evil 5 Co-Op (GotY IMO)and have started playing through Bioshock, although I'm not really enjoying it.

Also picked up Prince of Persia and CoD4: Modern Warfare the other night and am blasting through those as well.

To be honest, I'm not usually a FPS person however CoD4 is an incredibly cinematic game and I'm really enjoying the single player campaign.

So what games have you guys currently been playing? If you guys are on LIVE we should try to get some multiplayer going. :-)

Team Fortress 2, Command and Conquer 3 mainly right now. I loved the single player in CoD4 and multiplayer was pretty good too though theres way too much grenade spam.

If I have an option to play a first person shooter on a console or a PC I always go PC 100% of the time =p. Than again I was a competitive player in them for a bunch of years!

No Gold membership here though =p Do almost all my gaming through steam nowadays.

When I have the time, I have two options for games, PC or Wii. My Xbox is being a little bitch. I have been through 2 RRoD but this time the disk drive just isn't reading disks...

Recently I have dusted off Crysis: Warhead. which is pretty sweet. I like to think of it as a combination of The Guyver(If you are into Anime, you will understand) & CoD. On the other hand, most Friday evenings my fiancee and I do battle on the Wii. Mostly it is just bowling but with the release of the new Wii Resort, there should be plenty of more options for us to choose from.

When did you get your Xbox? I purchased mine a couple months back and so far haven't had any of the problems I keep hearing about.

I know a guy that helped develop a fix for the overheating issues that the original 360's experienced. The company that uses his process is in Long Island (Farmingdale), in the same industrial park where I do consulting work. They repair broken 360's and sell systems that they have refurbished themselves. Here is there website:

I purchased a new 360 a few months ago and haven't had any issues with it, both playing games and streaming media via TVersity. I got my Pro 60GB for 40% off when Virgin Records was going out of business, otherwise I would have bought from these guys. They are selling Pro 20GB refurb systems for $178 + $13.50 shipping.

Pretty cool... the multiplayer aspect is really well integrated.

haven't tried the new mario bros wii yet. i'm being a little selective on which games i buy. i did pick up Modern Warfare 2 though. awesome game but a little on the short side in my opinion.

Is that the one you can play "Pass the Luigi", looks fun!
I'm big basketball fan, I've been playing nba 2k10 lately. Very disappointed though, there are alot of major bugs in it. The first patch didn't fix most of them.

Yeah I got the new super mario wii, and its hooked up at the studio adam =)

We had some people over last night and had a blast playing the new Mario game with 4-players. Probably going to be the go to party game for a while now. It's definitely worth checking out if you get a shot.

I've also been playing some original L4D over LIVE with some of the guys here on the site and it's pretty ridiculous. Been having a lot of fun running and gunning the zombie horde LOL.

Still tryin' to get as many achievs as I can for GOW2 and in the process of beating Insane.

Borderlands, due for my 2nd round to level up and get some DLC

and killing my friends in MW2 while in process of beating Veteran.

Has anyone here tried Demon's Souls? I borrowed this from a friend and started it last week, and it very quickly consumed my life. There are so many brilliant elements to this game. The feeling I get while playing it reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus.

Singularity, still roaming the wasteland in fallout 3, call of duty modern warfare can't wait for black ops only taking breaks to try and get my foot in the door as a quality tester for a gaming company

FINALLY BACK IN NEW YORK! I'm playing Deadly Premonition on 360, which is hilarious, and Soldiers of Fortune/Chaos Engine for the SNES.

Flight Simulator. We've had an off and on relationship for years (all the way back to FSII in the 80's) and now I'm pouring major time and money into FSX to pick up some applicable skills I can put towards a Sports Pilot license someday.

Wow, everybody is playing some awesome games! Recently I've been playing some Fallout 3. I'm a little late to the party, but so far I'm really digging it.

The game is so massive though, I don't think there is anyway I'm going to be done before New Vegas hits the shelves LOL.
