We're pleased to announce that the next NYCGI Meet N' Drink will take place on March 11th. So if you're not going to be at GDC, we encourage you to come out and enjoy some brews, games, and excellent conversation with members of the local development community.

Registration opens today for the fourth session in Arkadium's game design workshop series. Entitled, "Game Design for Social Networks", the session plans to cover topics such as designing social network games, indirect social play, and viral marketing.

Writing a good story is not an easy thing to do. It is that much more difficult when one is writing for a game. This month's round-table focuses on how to weave a story into different types of games--from adventure games to casual games.

Please join us for a panel discussion with three important voices from the world of game journalism. Game journalists Stephen Totilo, Jamin Brophy-Warren and Leigh Alexander will be on hand to elaborate on such questions as: "What is the future of game criticism?" and "Where does game news fit into the game industry ecosystem?".

The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is coming to the East Coast! The show is heading to Boston this year and promises to be an amazing festival for game lovers of all stripes.

Mark your calendars everybody... the next IGDA NYC Demo Night is happening in four weeks. That's right, on Monday, March 29th Demo Night returns!
