NYC-based casual games developer Arkadium is going to be running a free game design workshop series in NYC lead by Eric Zimmerman. The workshops will take place early next year and will be open to the public, including professionals, students, and anyone interested.

If you think you would be interested in attending this sort of thing, we'd appreciate your input on what topics you'd be interested in hearing about.

We've put together a short survey, which can be found here: Free Game Design Workshop Series Interest Survey. There is an option at the end of the survey to add yourself to an e-mail list to get updates when the event details are finalized.

Registration is now open for the first night of Arkadium's five-part free game design workshop series, titled "Systems of Play", lead by Naomi Clark and Eric Zimmerman.

Details can be found here including how to sign up. Space is limited so registration is first-come-first serve. Please only register for the session which is marked with "REGISTRATION OPEN" - future workshop nights will be open for registration starting two weeks before the workshop, and early registrations will be ignored.

And once again, registration is FREE and open to anyone interested!
