Newly formed 4mm Games has announced its first title: Def Jam Rapstar, a karaoke Singstar-like game which caters to the hip-hop consumer base and allows players to get in touch with their inner MC.
The game will be on display at next month's upcoming E3 trade show. Def Jam Interactive's VP of Marketing Lauren Wirtzer is promising the game will incorporate all the elements of hip-hop lifestyle and will be as much about "swagger" as it is about music.
Details regarding microphones and other peripherals are still tight-lipped, but we're hoping the game will do an admirable job of transporting players from their bedrooms to champagne rooms, while simultaneously letting them bust on haters, fools and wack MCs. The game is currently set for a winter release.
